Electronic support for operational grid management processes
A state-of-the-art workforce management solution consists of an electronic schedule and a mobile component. The schedule provides the reliable and efficient allocation of resources. By looking at availability, qualifications, locations, and other relevant criteria of the technicians, the schedule supports precise planning and assists with the detailed planning for individual field service technicians, external companies, and equipment. Technicians have access to information via mobile software information to the service staff and can update any missing data and work results on-site. Information on past activities and events, and any relevant documents (authorizations, flowcharts etc.), is also available.
